Voting Absentee
First Day to Request an Absentee Ballot in Georgia: August 19
Last day to Request an Absentee Ballot in Georgia: October 25
Absentee Ballot: For absentee ballot dates and applications, and information on completing and returning an Absentee Ballot, please visit the DeKalb County Absentee Information page.
If voting Absentee, please return your completed Absentee Ballot to a Dropbox location to avoid it being lost by the USPS. Check back soon for a list of all Absentee Ballot Dropbox locations.
Voting Early (Advance Voting)
First Day of Advance Voting: October 15
Last Day of Advance Voting: November 1
Ensure your vote by banking it early! Advance Voting takes place ONLY at select locations around the county. For a list of advance voting locations with hours of operation, access the DeKalb County Advance Voting information page.
Voting on Election Day – November 5
On Election Day, you must vote at your local polling location. To find your polling location to vote in person on Election Day, November 5, visit mvp.sos.ga.gov. All polling locations will be open from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM on November 5.
